So, to say the least, I had an EXTREMELY hectic weekend... it was good, just very HECTIC...
It all started off with the fact that I would be very busy with 3 back-to-back performances of Madame Butterfly (Friday and Saturday Evening, and a Sunday Matinee). To make things even MORE interested... the hubby got a stomach virus on Friday, which had him sitting on his throne, and praying to the porcelain Gods pretty much the entire weekend... I felt so bad for him, but with my CRAZY schedule, I didn't have as much time to comfort him as I would've liked.
Saturday morning, at 11, I had my Professional Education exam, which I bombed! Well, I don't know how bad I did... but I do know that I did NOT pass :( It was so wierd... the first of all my required exams that I do not pass on the first try. I will just have to pick myself up, dust myself off, order the study guide, and try again next month... I was sooo exhausted when I got home though, and needed a nap... so hubby and I did just that. Napped. It was nice. :)
Saturday night got very interesting with another performance followed by Cristy's Bachelorette Party. Everything turned out beautifully, and was going well... but before I had a chance to jump into the limo and go partying with the girls, the hubs texted that he wasn't feeling well, and wanted me home. I ran straight home to be at his side. At least I got to enjoy the Passion Party, finger foods, drinks and company :) We had a great time... and from what I hear, their adventures that evening were also very fun... so fun that they did not arrive back until around 4 in the morning! I guess things work out, cause with a Matinee the following day, and a 1:15 call time, arriving home after 4 a.m. would NOT have been a good idea...
Sunday came and went so quickly that it feels like a blur. I got up, got dressed, and made my way to the Adrienne Arsht center, got into makeup, wig and costume, and had performance number 5 of Madame Butterfly. I was out at about 4:15, and went home. My dearest Husband made plans to go to his Mom's, so we did... at first I was so tired that I was reluctant to go... but we ended up having a nice time, so it was worth it...
This week is not going to be much different... Performance #6 is on Tuesday, followed by back-to-back performances (#7 and #8) on Friday and Saturday evening. Saturday afternoon we have a Birthday party, and Sunday, Mother's day...
I can't wait till mid-June... actually... JUNE 11TH (when we go to Hawk's Cay for the weekend).
